Kodi amcodec

Does it play without microstutter with the Amcodec on? They stutter horribly for me. It doesn’t matter what quality the trailer is whether it’s 1080p or 720p etc. I have no issues playing them from a windows machine.

I'm using my firmware with Kodi 16.1 - seems it is a Kodi/amcodec problem, thus Kodi doesn't support the old amlogic acceleration anymore with version 17. But if you say there are no HEVC 10bit flaws with v17 I'll try updating Kodi first. Is there any disadvantage when the old amcodec isn't used anymore?
